China Calls for Global Cooperation on Artificial Intelligence

Chinese President Xi Jinping has called for greater international cooperation in developing and governing artificial intelligence. Speaking at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai, Xi promoted open-source technology and pledged support for developing countries. He warned that unequal access to AI could create new economic and technological divisions worldwide.
