Srichaphan eyes Davis Cup comeback

- Paradorn Srichaphan is aiming to make his comeback in Thailand's Davis Cup match against Australia in April.

Paradorn, the first Asian men's player to be ranked in the top 10, has not played since March 2007 because of a right wrist injury. A winner of five ATP titles, he had surgery on Oct. 11.

Paradorn is scheduled to hit with Davis Cup teammate Danai Udomchoke.

"My wrist is getting better. But I can't tell when I will be able to return to competition," Paradorn said in Friday editions of the Bangkok Post. "If my wrist is in good shape, then I will be willing to help Thailand in the Davis Cup."

Australia will host Thailand from April 11-13, with the winner heading to World Group playoffs.
