Company Compensates For Mistake
Bandar Seri Begawan - A Lady, who recently won a prize at a local food festival, but could not claim her winning - a stay at an overseas hotel - expressed her gratitude to the company which compensated her.
The lady won a three-day two-night accommodation with daily breakfast at a hotel in Bangkok, half-day city tour and return airport to hotel transfer. However, she felt really embarrassed when her name was not on the reservation list when she turned up at the said hotel. "I fully obliged to the terms and conditions applied in claiming my prize. I even called the company before my departure to ensure that my booking at the hotel in Bangkok has been confirmed. She boarded the flight with her husband and two children only to be turned away when she showed up at the hotel counter.
