Participants then formed groups to discuss strategy formulation and implementation, by sharing concrete case studies and making field visits to various institutions including the state Educational Broadcasting System, Korea Telecom, KERIS, Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education and schools. Finally, each participant had the opportunity to get full feedback on his/her country-specific action plan on integrating ICT into education.

The intensive training course is expected to have not only provided policy makers with a broad yet detailed overview of what to expect in the field of educational ICT in terms of challenges, opportunities, costs and benefits, but also paved way for sustainable knowledge sharing and networking across regions.
