He said in the opening speech at the International Small Business Consortium(ISBC) today that the interim government has focused on cooperation with foreign communities, free market mechanism as well as sufficiency economy.

"Under this framework, Thailand shows that it is ready for foreign investment with the supporting foundation and personnel. Several world-class brands are manufactured in Thailand," he said.

He noted that in the globalised era, cooperation with the international communities would play a greater. Meanwhile, small and medium-sized enterprises would gain a more important role. Thailand will boost SMEs' strength and overseas cooperation to counter any possible crisis, while following sufficiency economy philosophy for sustainable growth.
