International Children's Games player diaries
The follow diaries are from Marion athletes competing in Bangkok, Thailand, in the International Children's Games. Today's entries are from boys' basketball players (Sunday) was the best day of the trip. Although we lost the game by one point, it was still a great game. The whole stadium was rooting against us because we are from the USA. It felt good because every basket I scored to shut them up. Overall, I have been honored to be a part of this and I can't believe that I am. Although we didn't win the gold, we still represented Marion and the USA very well.
RONNIE MORRELL Thailand was a very good experience for me. The competition was very good. Their malls are nice and have all the same things as in the USA. I think it was great that the city of Marion took us over to Thailand. By- chronicle-tribune.com By Gaurav Shukla, Section Sports & Games Posted on Mon Aug 28, 2006 at 07:43:00 AM EST
