5 dead in Southern bomb attack
NARATHIWAT - Five Thai Border Patrol Police officers were killed Thursday afternoon and another three were seriously injured in in a bombing attack in the southern border province of Narathiwat on Thursday.

At almost the same time in Sungai Padi district, another bomb exploded on a road targeting 5 members of a village protection volunteer unit who were on duty at a temporary checkpoint. No one was injured in the second bombing. (TNA
