Ryan William James, the manager of the James Communication Company in Bangkok, was held after police raided his apartment in the Bang Kapi district of the Thai capital.

He was discovered in the company of six boys aged between 13 and 14 and taken into custody by officers of Thailand's Youth and Women Protection Division.

During the raid police discovered hundreds of pornographic DVDs, four VCD players, a dildo, three bottles of Vaseline gel and what they have described as other pornographic VCDs of a middle-aged man having sex with a Western boy.
