Robbie Williams 'marries US actress'
British pop star Robbie Williams has married his US actress girlfriend, newspapers reported on Sunday.
The singer, 36 -- who recently rejoined the British band Take That -- has tied the knot with Ayda Field, 31, at his mansion in Los Angeles.
Newspapers showed pictures of marquees set up in the grounds.
"At last, Rob is happy. That's what you want for your kids and this is the happiest I've seen him," the singer's father Pete said, according to the News of the World.
"Ayda is so beautiful and so delightful and so lovely and just so right for him. They are brilliant together."
He added: "I don't have any grandchildren yet. Rob's will be my first. I'm pleased he's going to start a family. I can't tell you, I am just so very pleased for him. He might end up a stay-at-home dad -- you never know. But I think he'll always do his music."
The star's father said despite Williams rejoining Take That, he would not be returning to live in Britain.

Bollywood's serial kisser is back!
Seems after a considerable gap, the pending song for Emraan Hashmi starrer 24x7 Raftaar, will finally be shot. But it remains to be seen if the actor will feature in it. Reportedly, the producers, Percept Picture Company has roped in the three finalists of IPL Miss Bollywood 2009, while Hashmi was keener on doing it with a known actress.
According to a source associated with the movie, "Initially, the song was to be shot at Maldives and Emraan's dates were booked. But it was shifted to Bangkok due to financial issues. Then there was a disagreement over the girl. Percept wanted to take some new girl to save costs, while Emraan felt a known face would get better mileage."
Disagreements?
Consequently, differences cropped up between Hashmi and Percept after they failed to sign a girl and utilise his dates for the song sequence. And if that wasn't enough, they apparently even delayed his payment, resulting in his refusal to dole out more dates than committed.

Rani, Saif bond over Kareena in Bangkok
This is a friendship that is "special." Rani Mukerji and Saif Ali Khan have bonded since they were paired opposite each other in "Hum Tum" and "Ta Ra Rum Pum".
Rani was a patient listener when Saif poured out his heart to him recently. Rani and Saif had plenty of time to bond better in the weeks that they spent together in Bangkok shooting for Kunal Kohli's new untitled film where Rani plays nanny to Saif's character's kids.
"Since Rani did have more than one costume change in the film, there was plenty of time to talk to her co-star. Saif and she were huddled together. Their topic of conversation was Kareena," said a source close to both the actors.

Shweta Prasad's name games
Shweta Prasad on movies and studies
Where did you vanish after Iqbal?
I was pretty much here. After Iqbal, I'd decided that I'll take a gap of a few years for studying. I was open to interesting projects though. I recently completed a Bengali project called Eti Din Golpo.
It's about a father-daughter relationship. I felt great about it because the film has shaped up well and is in my mother tongue. Now, I want to come back to the Bombay movies as a heroine. I'm looking forward to that.
Did Nagesh Kukunoor approach you for Bombay to Bangkok and Aashayein?
No, he didn't approach me for his films. I'm sure if he had something interesting, he would have called me. That's okay.
How do friends treat you in school?
Oh, they're uber cool. They don't treat me like a star or somebody from showbiz. That would have been the case if my friends weren't from showbiz.
They're are also associated with the showtown. So, I'm thankful to God that I don't have to be told by friends, "Oh stop your film talks.. please."
Do you wish to study further?
Right now, I'm preparing for my class 10 board exams. Then, I wish to study com merce and business management.
