Security tightened up for judges of the Constitutional Court

Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva is prepared to present the issue on constitution amendment to the cabinet meeting next week The Prime Minister has also tightened up security measures to protect the constitutional court judges said to have been threatened.
According to Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva , security has been heightened to ensure safety of the constitutional court judges who reportedly said they had been under threat of bodily harm. Measures have also been taken to prevent disrespect to the court during the trail in connection with the ruling party dissolution case.

As for the progress of the constitution amendments, the Premier admitted that it would take some time to consider the issue, which he said he would be discussed by the cabinet in the meeting scheduled for November 2. He, however, added that he would not proceed with the issue if the nation remains divisive.
