Accompanied by his Office Minister Ongart Klampaiboon, the Premier visited the people along the Chaophya River. The Nonthaburi Governor and hundreds of the locals were on hand to welcome the team.
After listening to the problems from the locals and giving them moral support, Mr Abhisit ordered related authorities to give immediate relief aids, raise the height of flood protection dykes, and build wooded bridges; all of which would make life easier for the flood victims in the province. Meanwhile, the flood victims in the area asked the Prime Minister for mobile-toilet and more boat services.
